Abstract:

In this paper, a new approach for the time ARRANGEMENT of the RESOURCES and its applications is presented. If sequence of jobs is neither deterministic nor controllable, then sequencing and scheduling issue will knot to the decision making under conflict and uncertainty that has been addressed in the context of sequencing and scheduling models for the first time in here. Models created under these conditions are namedwariness models. In this paper, a general approach is presented for the solution of such problems and moreover, a pessimistic-based method for solving the problems with the fixed RESOURCES ARRANGEMENT is introduced. Anti-Akers-x algorithm has been propounded to determine identical job sequences in ann × m environment to maximize Fmax. The wariness models complexity is checked and then an application example is propounded from the wariness models and it was solved using Anti-Akers-x algorithm and the solution obtained was checked by the general method. Finally, Anti-Akers-x algorithm’s validation and verification are tested. It is concluded that: the related problems must be solved by game theory and the presented schedule is able to solve this strongly NPhard problems correctly and in reasonable time duration.

Abstract:

Introduction: To find principal factors which affect the development of enumeration, many recent researches have investigated the effect of visual characteristics on counting process. Here we have addressed the effect of ARRANGEMENT on enumeration process.Method: 37 participants aged between 18 to 30 years old were evaluated. We examined counting speed in three different ARRANGEMENTs of dots in five magnitudes (8-12) which differed in regularity and imaginary lattices between their dots. Results: According to our results, enumeration speed is affected by both ARRANGEMENT and the set of magnitudes (p<0.001) while irregularity and ambiguity of lattices caused slower enumeration. Furthermore, accuracy of responses was only affected by the number of dots (p<0.001).Conclusion: Taken together, these results show that lattice formation which facilitates groupitizing and subsequently subitizing, has considerable effect on enumeration speed. Meanwhile the more various strategies of groupitizing in ARRANGEMENTs will cause slower enumeration speed, but regularity of ARRANGEMENTs does not guarantee the accuracy of responses.

Abstract:

Mohammad Hassan Shahsavari's novel "Possible Night" is a met-story that has benefited from postmodernist storytelling techniques. Shahsavari has effectively utilized the element of space in designing this narrative and the story-making process, The atmosphere of the story casts a shadow over the whole narrative and is directly related to the performance of the characters, transformation is the most prominent feature of space in the novel, as the story has a symbolic overall space and several individual spaces, the beginning of the story comes with a verse of Hafez of the whole book. The general setting of the story has moved on to the theme that there is no certainty and reality in life and anything can happen. Each chapter is also shaped by the transformation of space, relying on the description and tone of the characters, the three romantic, logical, and love-hate spaces, each of these spaces interacts with the other space in a general space. The present article examines the question of how space is in the novel and how it affects its narrative, the creation of space in the novel has been investigated.

Abstract:

The first-order stereology methods are applied to estimate the volume, surface, length, and number of the biologic structures under normal and experimental conditions. Hitherto, the quantitative information concerning the three-dimensional (3D) ARRANGEMENT of structural and ultra-structural particles has received less attention. The second-order stereology can also provide additional information about the spatial ARRANGEMENT of the components, e.g. cells or organelles.

Abstract:

This study tried to explore how a competent speaker chooses a special ARRANGEMENT for his/her text with his/her presupposed knowledge of the audience in his/her social and cultural contexts and how the structure of the text or, in other words, ARRANGEMENT of its components plays an important role in the meanings received by the audience. With this purpose in mind, several stretches of speech with the topic of "request" were extracted out of the Shāhnāmeh to see what Ferdowsi's textual tactics were for arranging the structures of different types of requests with regard to the topic of "request", as well as the interlocutors involved. The results showed that such versified requests followed different types of patterns of ARRANGEMENT. The following sequences of moves were found: "praise" (to God and the audience), "introduction" (variable), "the very request" (a story and a request), and "closing" (variable). These moves with minor variable ARRANGEMENTs and/or omissions showed that Ferdowsi paid attention to the cultural and social contexts of his own time. Therefore, the move patterns of "request" texts in the Shāhnāmeh were predictable, leading to a better understanding of the text by the audience. The moves of "introduction" and "closing", including different steps (sub-moves) with varied ARRANGEMENTs according to the subject and the context, played an important role in persuading the audience and providing the rhetoric of the request too. Introduction The characters’ monologues or speeches in the stories are one of the important text types in the Shāhnāmeh. By examining the subject matters and situational contexts of such speeches or monologues, it is possible both to identify Ferdowsi's tricks in representing the non-verbal context and social status at different levels of language and find out his specific methods of influencing on his audience. Just as the type of word ARRANGEMENT is effective in understanding the meaning of a single utterance, ARRANGEMENT of different parts of a text and their sequence type could create special semantic relationships that can affect the audience's understanding of the text as well. The textual structures of different types of speeches in the Shāhnāmeh have not yet been studied thoroughly and duly. Examining the textual ARRANGEMENTs of varied types of poetry and prose texts that have received less attention in traditional rhetoric and stylistic studies, in addition to identifying the rhetoric of a text and individual style and period, could reveal good cultural and social information hidden in the different layers of language. Materials & Methods In this study, 10 stretches of speeches with the topic of "request" were selected from the text of Shāhnāmeh edited by Khaleghi Motlagh based on Sarami's approach (1994). Every story containing the speeches was summarized. Then, using Halliday and Hasan's approach (Halliday and Hasan, 1976, 1985) to study the texture, their contexts were described. Finally, based on Sasani and Yazdani's method of analyzing the text ARRANGEMENT (Sasani and Yazdani, 2011), we found and labeled different parts of the speeches, including gāms (moves) and gāmaks (steps). We then analyzed the functions of gāms and gāmaks in producing the main meaning of the text in the desired context with their rhetorical and cognitive aspects. Since the subjects and contexts of the selected requests were different, the analysis was of a qualitative-quantitative type. Discussion of Results & Conclusions In some of the speeches examined, the request began with the move of "praise", which included the two steps of "praising God" and "praising the audience". The existence of this move showed Ferdowsi's adherence to the writing traditions of his own time. The second move was the "introduction", which included different steps depending on the texture. In this move, Ferdowsi provided the necessary grounds for preparing the audience to express the request and how it differed from the textual composition of each speech. The brevity of this move also had a lot to do with the context of the situation. In a speech where the position of the audience was higher and the subject was more important, this move was expressed longer. The third move was the "request" that was present in all the speeches and included the two steps of "description" and "request". In the step of "description", the reason for the request was stated. In the step of "request", which contained only 8% of the text on the average according to these 3 texts, the characters’ language in the story were mentioned. This section could be considered as the main step in which the subject of the text was determined. In this step, a few points affected by the non-verbal texture were visible. In the speeches where the audience's position was higher, this step was longer and the request was direct and vice versa. The fourth move was "concluding", which had a persuasive aspect in all the speeches. What caused the step of "request" (8% of the text) to find its original and rhetorical meaning was the existence of pre- and post-small steps by which many points were stated.

Abstract:

"The best ARRANGEMENT" (Nizām-i Ahsan) plays an important role in the Islamic philosophy as a whole, and in Mullā sadrā's philosophical system in particular. At the first glance, it may seem that a flawless system is the best ARRANGEMENT of things, and therefore, the question arises as to why the existing world contains some evil and imperfection. On the other hand, as science progresses more and more secrets of the natural world are revealed, and scientists and philosophers realize that the world order is very accurate and complicated. By discussing "the best ARRANGEMENT", philosophers try to solve this dilemma.Mulla sadra, based on his transcendent philosophy, considers the existing world as a product of the Divine ARRANGEMENT, and hence, it is formed in the best possible order. This article inquires into this issue by referring to Mullā sadrā' s magnum opus, al-Asfār al-Arba'ah.

Abstract:

In this research, the effects of the planting ARRANGEMENT on the seed yield, its components, seed oil percentage and certain agronomic properties of safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) in Gogan (Located in East Azarbaijan Province) during 2002-2003 were studied. The space between rows was 15, 30, 60 centimeters and the distances between the plants in a row were 5, 10, 15 centimeters, respectively. Genotypes were IL111, Kj818 and Arak-2811. The experiment was factorial based on randomized complete block design with three replications. During the growing season different characters such as plant height, number of branches per plant, number of capitulums per plant, number of the seeds per capitulum, seed yield, harvest index, 1000 seed weight, and seed oil percentage were measured. Analysis of variance showed significant differences among genotypes for number of the seeds per capitulum, number of capitula per plant, 1000 seed weight, plant height and seed yield. The planting ARRANGEMENT had significant effect on number of capitulum per plant, number of seed per capitulum, and seed yield. The plant spaling of 15 cm within row resulted in the highest yield. Arak-2811 with 4.34 tons of seed yieldlha was the highest yielding genotype. It seems that extending safflower cultivation to medium and poor soils of localities near Ourmieh Lake (e.g. Gogan) will be useful for obtaining an acceptable yield.
